These headphones are built by hand in the UK by Gordon Heritage, expert detectorist and co presenter of the recently aired Hoard Hunters television programme. Gordon uses the finest quality components available, no expense spared. The speakers used give a sound range perfectly matched to the human ear. The lead is super strong and should, with care, give years of reliable use.
The Wader headphones are designed for shallow water where the whole detector and headphone lead are submerged, but NOT the headset. These are not diving headphones.
The Gog waders are fitted with an eight pin connector and a two position switch for silencing the detectors internal speaker. When using the headphones run the switch in the down position. In the up position you will get sound through the headphones and from the detectors internal speaker, which can be handy when you’re not wearing the headphones during target recovery, as it’s not an easy process of disconnecting them from your CTX 3030.
To fit these to your CTX3030, first remove the headphone module from the rear of the detector. Push the eight pin connector into the socket and locate it into the correct position (you will feel it plug into the connector), then lock it into position, turning the metal knurled connecting ring clockwise.
Warning – to remove the eight pin connector, twist ONLY the metal knurled connecting ring anti-clockwise. DO NOT TWIST the black plastic part of the connector, as this will destroy this part of the headphone lead. Such damage will be deemed user misuse and NOT covered by warranty.
All Gog phones are guaranteed free of manufacturing defects for the life of the headphones. Our leads, switches and volume controls are guaranteed for 12 months.
Breakages due to misuse are NOT warrantied. Ear cushions are NOT covered by our warranty unless it can be proved to be a manufacturing fault. By their very nature the ear cushions will deteriorate with use, hardening over time. Replacement cushions will be available to Gog phone users at £18 per pair plus postage
